This home was designed in response to an exceptional waterfront location and is a realization of the client’s appreciation of West Coast contemporary design.  Effectively a new home, the decision was taken to extensively renovate the existing structure in order to retain a “grandfathered” floor area overage of some 700 sqft.  Further, the home was lifted and moved closer to the waterfront, capturing impressive views of the city, mountains, and ocean. Also allowing the addition of an attached garage, a large roof deck, front yard, and acoustic separation from the street.
